The ECS was founded by locally renowned musician and conductor Frankie Ayers in November 2016 and is an amateur orchestra in East Anglia formed of friendly and talented local musicians from Norfolk, Suffolk and other surrounding parts of East Anglia.

The orchestra aims to provide live music to the local area by giving three or more concerts a year. We also aim encourage any musicians in the surrounding communities that have not yet had the opportunity or experience to play or perform in such an orchestra.

The concert consisted of three brass bands and the East Coast Sinfonietta. Here is a little clip of the massed band piece at the end.
